We study the complexity for an open quantum system. Our system is a harmonic oscillator coupled to one-dimensional massless scalar field, which acts as bath. Specifically, we consider reduced density matrix by tracing out bath degrees of freedom both regular and inverted computed purification (COP) using operator-state mapping. found that when COP saturates quickly underdamped overdamped oscillators. Interestingly, underdamped, discover kink like behaviour saturation value with varying damping coefficient. For oscillator, linear growth time all values bath-system interaction. However, interaction increased slope decreases, implying unstable nature can be regulated
